Conversion of an existing restaurant and detached dwelling to create a single family home, with focus into a central courtyard.
The new extension forms the main entrance to the house, and the link between the existing buildings. Black vertical board timber over cladding defines new interventions, chosen to contrast and compliment the existing original red sandstone walls and slate roofs.
